Louis Michaud Jr., of Danvers, may have pulled up in a flashy ride, but his intentions for the money are humble. He plans to use some of the cash to pay off his sister's mortgage, lottery officials said.
Michaud elected to take the lump sum payment of $650,000 before taxes instead of the annuity. He won the money playing the "300X" $30 scratch-off game.
He bought the ticket at Danvers Citgo, 100 High St. in Danvers. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning scratch-off.
